Adjustments

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a Chiropractic technique used to help provide care that is specific to the patient’s needs. Muscle tests can help determine which musculoskeletal regions of the body need attention and can demonstrate the body’s response to treatment. Love and Merritt utilizes AK with a variety of other techniques to address musculoskeletal needs. Patients will notice an increase in range of motion and a decrease of overly tensed muscles.

Cupping

Cupping

Therapeutic cupping utilizes specialized suction cups directly on the skin to help relieve muscle tightness. Cupping also helps to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow and promotes relaxation.

Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET)

D.D. Palmer, the founder of Chiropractic named the three causes of misalignment the "3 T's: Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins."

NET is a technique that focuses on the first T - Thoughts and the physical aspects of emotional/stress responses. If you think of your body's response to a painful memory, a strong response can feel like a faucet turned on full blast. NET turns down the pressure coming out of the faucet, therefore reducing the response your body has to the memory.

Acupuncture

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique that involves the insertion of a solid filament needle into the skin and muscle to treat myofascial trigger points, muscle spasms, and other areas with tight muscles.
